If there is a business opportunity to purchase a hospital, an assisted living facility or whatever, having independent CEO's could have both look into the prospect for their respective companies and their shareholders. It could be that both are not in a position to purchase, but I do think there is an argument to be made for an issue for competition, perhaps a lessor of an issue. No matter what, there a muliple reasons why there can be conflicts and little to no benefit other than Seamus gets to collect two pay checks.
