Yep. Trump is little more than a failed businessman who succeeded in little but building his personal brand. Known across America only because of a stint as a tv reality show host, he was even a fake there as allegedly he didn't pick the people he fired on The Apprentice. He was fired from the show in 2015 because of insulting remarks about Mexican immigrants he made during his announcement that he was running yet again for president. Because he is an megalomaniac his need for power had him run for president repeatedly. In 2016, 16 years after his first failed effort he succeeded thanks to Americas obnoxiously weird electoral system. It should be noted Trump created a record in that win:

For years he apparently read Hitlers speeches with his bedtime cocoa, and probably has read of how Hungary's Viktor Orban managed to finally win and consolidate power there. Maybe has read the odd instruction book on golf. Maybe though he allegedly cheats at that too. He would listen to Musk, Thiel and others with no real reason to understand exactly why he was making it possible for them to get so close to damaging American democracy as much as they have managed to now. Agree he wouldn't have a clue what anarcho-capitalism is.
