This is DEFINITELY one of the best posts I've seen on ihub. It gives a perspective nobody has clearly stated and is based on evidence of the PR. Well done.

I will add that 2029 is my next target year which aligns wonderfully with your statement. They keep inventing new and better spider silk. Maybe the old silk(s) are going to be sold for other purposes. Maybe they're producing multiple silk strands for multiple uses. Either way, if it takes FOREVER to create one silk strand it's going to take forever and a day to create other strands...at least with what we know now.
