I noted several items of importance:
1). The shooting, sound, and editing were top notch with no compromise whatsoever.
2). They were clips of small portions of the first 2 episodes. And not necessarily highlights. I especially took note of Emma signing off with you never know who will pop in.
3). It contains elements of 60 minutes interviews (albeit in a much more informal fashion); cooking and food shows, dance (Dancing with the Stars and American Bandstand), music (Saturday night special and Don Kirschner's rock concert), comedy and entertainment, fashion, and it goes far beyond Hollywood with athletes. There truly is something for everyone.
4). Emma was great in her role as host and will only improve with each filming. This is really her ultimate goal.
5). With about 50 microphones and almost as many cameras, and dozens of celebrities simultaneously, they can pick and choose what to edit in unlike traditional late night which lives or dies with only 2 guests and a few minutes of entertainment. They can be flexible on what draws audiences by episode and season.
6). Countries all around the world will also have their own versions.

It is very real and people aren't aware of the potential yet...yet. It will get even more interesting
