You say windows open, never have more than one window open. Have
three tabs open, um, that's a new idea, try on two. Need one for search.

I'm pretty sure it'd work the same way with tabs. Or with a combination of tabs and windows. And I"m not sure all of them would have to be open to IHub. I always have one window open for email, at least two, but often more, for IHub, and others for other stuff. And I do get multiple notifications for public messages sent to me and for PMs.

It could also be that if you have a window or tab open in which you've viewed an IHub page during that session, you might get a notification.

A geek would have the answers.
