Are you talking about the class action that involves freddie common the JPS of both? That has not been fianlized by one dam lazy and crooked judge Lamberth, so no pay out. It wouldn't affect the stock price too much anyway to create any kind of delta gap. The capital and the size of the business does. Fannie has always been higher priced than Freddie. There are differences in their businesses, they don't cater to the same crowds.
fannie: works with larger commercial banks and lenders
freddie: works with smaller banks and credit unions
fannie: does primarily single family home mortgages
freddie: does more larger multi unit properties
So their lending programs and purposes for those programs are different, and fannie enjoys a much larger market for what they do so they will always be bigger currently. At least until we turn into China and there are high rise apartments everywhere, lol. Then Freddie will take over.
