I find people who use terms like alpha and beta male, often turn out to be either closet homosexuals, (not that there's anything wrong with that) or child molesters and sexual abusers (which there definitely is something wrong with) or both. They have a need to puff themselves up because they lack any actual confidence. They discredit human relationships because they can't accept themselves for what they are, and their make-believe persona leaves them generally unfuckable in the real world.

These are the ones you read about, who have an entire library of child pornography, and about whom the neighbors later say, "Yeah... There was always something off about that guy."
