Met three new doctors, had further more detailed examination. First injection in two days, my Friday. After three monthly injections, dependent upon examination and progress or not, a decision as to whether or not i'm eligible for an implant trial will be made. The implant inserted by going though the upper left side of the white is about the size of a grain of rice is filled with 2mg ranibizumab, and is refilled either every 6 or 9 months. Eliminating if all well the necessity for monthly injections. The needles and devices used to fill and refill the implant are approved (after a hiccup recall and reintroduction) in the United States .. https://www.roche.com/media/releases/med-cor-2024-07-08 .. but not yet in Australia. This looks the trial .. https://ctv.veeva.com/study/a-study-of-the-efficacy-safety-and-pharmacokinetics-of-a-36-week-refill-regimen-for-the-port-deliv?comeFrom=%7B%22type%22%3A%22site%22%2C%22slug%22%3A%22the-university-of-sydney-sydney-eye-hospital%22%7D . If deemed ineligible for the trial monthly injections continue with good care just if i get in the trial including the implant then monitoring would be closer which would be a plus.

It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
