Nuveen Intermediate Duration Quality Municipal Term Fund Liquidating Trust Announces Final Distribution and Termination (1/02/25)

NEW YORK, January 2, 2025 –Nuveen Intermediate Duration Quality Municipal Term Fund Liquidating Trust announces details related to its final distribution and termination. Today, the trust is making a final liquidating cash distribution to all unitholders and then will proceed to terminate.

As announced in June 2023, Nuveen Intermediate Duration Quality Municipal Term Fund Liquidating Trust was formed to facilitate the orderly disposition of Energy Harbor Corp. securities that were transferred to the trust from Nuveen Intermediate Duration Quality Municipal Term Fund (NIQ). Shareholders received one unit of the liquidating trust for each NIQ common share owned. Upon its formation on June 30, 2023, the trust had a value equal to $0.5768 per unit.

In March 2024, the trust paid a special distribution to all unitholders of $0.1676 that was in connection with the acquisition of Energy Harbor Corp. by Vistra Corporation in exchange for cash and equity in a subsidiary called Vistra Vision.

In December 2024, the trust received a single payment representing the total proceeds of the sale of the trust’s Vistra Vision equity. This sale and receipt of sale proceeds allows for the final cash distribution and termination of the trust.

The final per unit distribution that is payable to all unitholders: $0.4550.
