Look way back into my past posts. I correctly traded BSTI which later became IBCL (international biochemical). I made around $1.3mil on that stock - I still have stock certificates somewhere in a drawer - got in an argument with one of the brokerage companies and demanded to get the certificates from them. I was the very last buyer in that company. Bought $33k worth and the second that trade went through, the SEC halted it for putting out a bogus press release. I started trading that company with $1000 and turned it into a milly through some serious day trading. I was on top of the world. Had a fan club too - not intentional mind you. That was in the 90's I think. I got to testify against CEO Timothy Moses. Earned me an all expenses paid trip to Atlanta. That stock became worthless - $1.3 mil gone completely. I became friends with a guy named Irving (Irv.) who traded with me. There were actually 4 of us who traded daily and all made money. When Irv found out that the stock was halted, he had a heart attack and died.

Speaking of brokerages... I once owned 1/12 of Franklin Ross brokerage company. I got in pre- IPO. They traded about half my IBCL stocks and others. They were going to go public and offered me ownership as an accredited investor. Moments after I bought, Mark Ross bailed - said that his daughter had cancer and couldn't deal with the added stress. Sold his ownership to someone else and around that time, the gov closed down the company for the type of illegal shorting and hiring of paid bashers that supposedly don't exist, that Empress is discussing now.

I made well over a milly on USRM. A stem cell company. Former Chicago Bulls player Sally was their spokesman (for a short while). I posted my trades starting at .0001 in real time - you can look them up. The stock went to .08 and I sold over half. Then some Florida judge decided that removing stem cells in your body, placing them in a centrifuge with a chemical that's sole purpose was to separate the stem cells from other stuff like fat, and then reinserting the stem cells back in different parts of your body, should be regulated by the government. That killed the stock price immediately. The CEO paid himself way too much - I said so while I owned the stock, but what killed the company was the government. I did very well, but lost the other half.

There was a company that had the first internet available for commercial flights - can't remember the company... maybe GECC? Senator Menendez spoke highly of it. This is the company I met my first paid basher at - we became friends and talked a lot about real world trading. I invested very heavily in this stock - very heavily. I think it went to like $4 before it crashed hard. The stock was a scam, despite a US Senator being part of the scam. How could that even be with a US Senator telling everyone how good the product was?

I can go on and on. These were all great companies. Later I learned the real value of a balance sheet. I learned how an income statement comes into play. I learned that sources and uses of cash statement tells you if there is a future in the company. None of those companies passed the financials test. Still, even with everything going for a company... you get a sure thing and the government decides they want to regulate the industry. Maybe the CEO does something stupid that kills the company. Maybe someone with a lot of clout decides that the company you invest in should be taken down. For those who are old enough... learn about how Karl Ikon took down TWA or Bill Gates took down Netscape.

Now, I minimize my risk ALWAYS. I suggest everyone who trades even TSLA or Ford do the same. You never know what can happen.

I think HMBL has huge potential. My expectations are absurdly high. Before they ever were to get anywhere near what I believe it will get to, I will have sold half. Just in case.
