First I would not take the average congress person as being an authority on something...

Remember the guy that expresssed concern to a Defense official about the risk that an airbase on Guam could be so heavy that it would flip the island over?

LMAO - one of my favs.

As for Patrick Byrne...he wasn't much better than the average penny CEO. He pushed that nonsense about Overstock for years and never proved it. He was eventually kicked out.

But yes I have seen many CEO's, penny stock primarily, push this nonsense because it redirects the blame form their shitty performance to some imaginary foe.

1) Do I own stock?
Answer: No. I don’t invest in penny stocks.
2) Why am I here?
Answer: I like debating things that I have a 95% chance of being right about.
3) Am I a paid basher?
Answer: Wait…what? You can get paid for this?
