It's hard to calculate accurately as we don't have enough details to go off of.

First you would have to know how much they have on hand now.

Kim told us they created 1200lbs of cocoons.
Using the 10 to 1 ratio(because that is all we have to go by and i think it's probably the most accurate calculation we have right now) they would have roughly 120lbs of fiber.

Let's just say they have 500 lbs on hand. They would need an additional 2500lbs to hit there 1.5 tons before sales start.

Going back to the first of the year they need 2500 lbs in 2 months.

If they hit that in February then they could blow the 10,000 lbs estimate out of the water by years end. Which is kims estimate. That doesn't take into account any expansion of production. Assuming they hit their mark by February.

Using kims estimate, which anyone who has been paying attention has never hit the mark when it comes to Kim's production estimates, it just isn't feasible that they will produce an additional 2500 lbs by end of February but only estimate 10,000 lbs by years end. That's why i will be amazed if they start sales by end of February.

Just for the record, I am doubtful they will hit the 10,000 lb mark by years end either. But we can all hope.
