Lithium is being crushed because of the electronics demand crash (following consumer and China implosion accelereting now) and oversupply, of course. You may also be aware that they have discovered that fracking waste contains huge amounts of dissolved lithium, which can be recovered pretty cheaply, eliminating the need for mining it industrially.
