....at present, given that we are safely OUT OF YEAR 2024 with no income tax PROBLEM.........I wonder how the FDIC pays the DIVIDEND......we reviewed several FDIC payouts - - ain't many - - and the payments are made directly, as DIVIDENDS...........and in one case, combined with other monies.......and the IRS has a designation which allows for the combination and the theory is............THE FDIC DIVIDEND INCREASES THE VALUE OF THE STOCK BY THE EXACT AMOUNT OF THE DISTRIBUTION.................very, very cool............paying agent makes one payout and the nightmare is over.............LTCG.............................

................HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 37% federal income tax bracket...............and 20% LTCG....................a million bucks, for me, on the non-ROTHs.......
