Eddie told judge he's "UKRAINIAN." Actually, Ukraine was part of the former Soviet Union/ USSR until the 1990's when it collapsed like all his deals. His family came to America when he was14.
Yet when he was arrested, booked and jailed he told the magistrate he was a citizen of Ukraine...not the USA. In doing so, the the court was compelled by the Vienna Convention to notify the Ukrainian Embassy/ Consulate that one of their citizens had "been ARRESTED for a CRIMINAL OFFENSE and was IN JAIL in Dallas So he's apparently not even a US Citizen...or he lied to the court.
