I laugh at all these technology prognosticators. Notice how their predictions never change, even though years have passed? For instance, about 10 years ago, everyone would say quantum computers are the future but they're about 10 years out. Well, 10 years have passed, and quantum computers, even if not fully developed to their utmost potential, are here NOW. They are not 10 years out, or 15 years out. They literally exist now, are doing computations now, and are earning revenue now. Government agencies are starting to invest. The US government is starting to build a quantum network to stay ahead of other countries.

And the worst part is, that you see so many people still parroting these old sayings everywhere on the internet: in comment threads, forums, etc... Hello, 2014 called and they want their sayings back. It's 2025 in a couple weeks, and a lot of this "future tech" from years past is literally here. We have rockets going into space and landing back on launch pads with zero damage. Satellite internet. Self driving cars. A.I.-piloted fighter jets. That inflection point in technology that everyone talked about in decades past is upon us. I firmly believe that the next 15 years or so will see more advancement in technology than the past 150 years.
