Away for a while, maybe missed something.
What is the reason behind Paulson's belief that Treasury holds 90%?
For me it's 79% warrant.
Yeah, you missed Corporate Restructurings 101.
If you've followed what I've said for years past....it's the same as Paulson just told you. Paulson said that upon restructuring, Treasury could own 90-95% of the common shares. I have been speculating 90-93%. It's because Treasury owns the SPS that will be converted into common shares in order to exit conservatorship any time soon. Treasury isn't going to just become a charity and give existing common holders $200 billion in equity. NEVER HAPPENING.
