Because it's NOT the same. Obama had the GOP authored Great Recession that he appropriately responded to in order to prevent another, GOP authored, Great Depression. GOP IS great at those two things.

Trump's tax cuts gave his debt numbers a running start to hand off to his Covid relief, necessitated by his downplaying of the pandemic. And Biden also had little choice but to continue the Covid relief due to Trump's mini-recession and consequent shit new job record.
