Back in the day the system worked -- sometimes with happy results -- my niece became pregnant in HS -- went to SoCA, had the baby which was adopted -- returned to finish HS -- great career in a local bank -- and 20 years latter a beautiful young lady appeared looking for her birth mother -- what a happy day for my niece and my sister and BIL -- and I understand with a trust fund as her adoptive parents had passed -- she is part of the family to this day
