We vote for freedom of choice. Freedom to not take covid vaccines. Freedom to say what we want to say on X com.

But not the freedom to get an abortion if you're carrying a non-viable fetus that's endangering your own life. Sure. I get it. Your "freedoms" are a guy thing.

The "freedom" to infect other people, including the sick and elderly, with a dangerous disease because you don't understand or want to believe the science. The "freedom" to shoot your mouth of on X, spewing racist and misogynistic epithets at people you don't even know.

There is, in actual fact, nothing we can do about either of those examples of atrocious behavior. Not unless the bullies in question work for the federal government. Whether the behaviors continue is, as you say, a choice. People choose to work for the federal government or not.
