Glad you understand the business of Government..that he conducted. Again..refer to the DoD and Hatch act. Partisan politics are certainly not the profession of the armed forces. Again, refer here:
For purposes of the Hatch Act, political activity is defined as "an activity directed toward the success or failure of a political party, candidate for partisan political office or partisan political group". Because application of the rules may vary depending on an employee's position or office, it is extremely important that employees who are considering engaging in political activity know which rules apply.
2. Do the Hatch Act restrictions apply to Members of the Armed Forces?
A. No. Members of the Armed Forces are not covered by the Act. The political activities of Members of the Armed Forces are governed by Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 1344.10, Political Activities by Members of the Armed Forces on Active Duty
As you can see...the key word is partisan. A very important word that absolutely no one adheres to outside of the military etc.
I have a strong feeling you were ripping on Miley's ass for that photo op back in 2018...eh? The one he apologized for....and then went on to blame the Biden Administration ..specifically the State Department for the failure of the troop withdrawal from Afghanistan.
But he is ok now because he called Trump a fascist...lol.
