DesktopDR, this is a very good question which has had me puzzled as well. I was not comprehending exactly how breaking up these telecommunications giants (if that is the desired goal) was going to directly benefit shareholders of VPLM. Perhaps someone with expertise in this area could expound on this a bit? However, I do think that a key clue was dropped by Emil in the press release when he said, and I am paraphrasing, that these large telecom corporations were going to have to move to a "patent based" platform or risk losing market share. Well, guess who happens to own many of these crucial patents? (VP's patents have another ten years of active life, by yhe way). Another term which came up was "VoWiFi" (voice over wifi, I presume). Thus, it would appear that VP's patents apply to this technology as well. By the way, I do appreciate the myriad of ideas being presented here.
