Do you think the postulator of the split is so dumb that he actually believes there is such a thing as a “split” involving many multiples of the outstanding shares? I’d consider that a huge insult to that poster if so.

Given you don’t believe he believes that, how do you feel about him lying about it? Note those lies may stall struggling posters from accepting the truth.
