We live in a litigious society in the US which I personally think is unfortunate. In this particular case, I suspect LLY is in the right and they can supply everyone that wants to pay what their pricing demands and honor their IP, Patent protection.

But, I have no clue how this plays out. If the compounders win, they circumvent patent law IMO.
