The reason I think most people hate short sellers is because they prey on people and companies to fail. Pure evil. Longs prey that a company succeeds, and everyone makes money. If you hope for someone or thing to fail….your inherently evil and in it for only yourself. Now if you're shorting a medical company trying to save lives and preying on it to fail….god help you
