You probably understand that from a penny stock point of view but this is not a game.

Yes, cult penny stocks actually did prepare me for Donald Trump's ascent to the presidency, and for the behavior of his culties.

But there may be some reason for hope. The CMKX story was, in terms of the acceptance of lies about the company on the part of its shareholders, at its height between 2004 and about 2008. Though there was more lunacy to come, in the form of Krazy Al and his lawsuit, by the end of that period, all but the most gullible had begun to make contact with reality. Eventually they accepted the fact that their money was gone, and that they'd been conned.

There are still some True Believers, but they're no longer relevant to much of anything.
