Although they made that statement, it contradicted previous information in the PR, where it clearly indicated that 0% of the current breeding cycle would be raised in parallel to rebuild the parent-line breeding pool AND it stated that KBLB only maintains a small population of these parent lines.

"To grow production capacity and maximize the new rearing center, the Company has divided this batch into two groups. Twenty percent of this batch are BAM-1 hybrids for reeling finished silk. Eighty percent of this batch is split evenly between the two BAM-1 parental lines that will be crossbred to produce millions of BAM-1 hybrid silkworm eggs for future production cycles."

The batch was 1 batch divided into 2 groups. This coming week will be another batch.

Someone paying attention would ask why there is a need to clarify "First-generation hybrids." One might gather that the hybrids can have a 2nd generation hybrid. Hybrids aren't supposed to breed true... what are they saying here? Wouldn't that be a "key advancement?" Could change the meaning of "future production cycles" statement above.

Maybe they are going to introduce additional information, but I think there aren't any contradictions. So the need for adapting could come into play. They certainly are far more careful with what they say, than you are inferring. I'll put what they actually say, over how you interpret things every day.

I’m happy to further explicate the contradiction for you.

Happy to further confuse you mean.
