Your 'waiting for settlement (T+3)' to sell seems very self serving IMHO. As in, give me a head start to sell my hundreds of millions of shares before you begin to sell yours. I think the reason is self evident. I don't care if your followers want to make sure they get a lower price. If they do that's fine. When I first mentioned this I wasn't sure if they understood why you wanted them to wait. Now I don't care. It's their money. But this is probably irrelevant as I don't see an opportunity coming to sell for a higher price than todays price. If there is I doubt it will be by much.

Your statement fits perfectly into the narrative of someone wanting to discourage long-term investors from holding onto their positions for just a few more days, waiting for settlement (T+3). It’s almost too convenient, wouldn’t you agree?
