It may not be correctly attributed as it's own heart beat anyhow, at 5/6 weeks it's just fluid pulsing through a constricted area and is actually the mothers pulse mostly at that point I believe. At 8-10 weeks the article mentions that that blob starts operating it's own 'beat'?
