Yep, what really boils me is the way they try to downplay it in the media. I watched clip today from some dude at cnbc and his takeaway from today's job numbers was..
1) Well they missed estimates by 19 k but at least they are not negative and we are still creating jobs. 2) It looks like there definitely will not be a recession 3) Unemployment ticked down but we were expecting more
All this fear mongering and in the same breath he passively mentions that it's a 100% certainty that the FED is going to start cutting interest rates again but he wasn't sure if it was going to be either a quarter or a half a point. If you ask me they went little too crazy to begin with and a half a point wouldn't be a bad start but I'm not even close to understanding any of that stuff so I just go along for the ride.
