You seem to be assuming that Nvidia chips and chipsets will remain static and Nvidia will not make any improvements until everyone else catches up with where they were.

You seem to be describing that Nvidia’s customers will chase after chipsets that are nearly obsolete rather than catch up with what is coming. I seriously doubt that any of the major customers has management which is that incompetent and would make those kinds of decisions.
