One thing we do differently is that I always trade at the market price rather than a limit price.

It has been my experience that whenever I do a market order the bid or ask moves 5-10 cents just long enough to fill my order. If you want to do a market order, I suggest you try doing a limit order at the bid or ask, depending on if you are buying or selling. Example: You are selling a CC and the bid is $0.25 and the ask is $0.30. Do a limit order with an ask of $0.25 and get your fill. If you do a market order you will likely find that the bid drops to $0.20 just long enough to fill your order.
