I saw Avebury with a brief description on the Hiru Mining website. That's where I got the name. Now I don't see it. Very odd....

Ni is in demand and will be in greater demand as we go electric, but the demand has to exceed Indonesia's supply for other mines to profit.

Avebury was bought by Mallee Resources in 2022 for around $80M (Aus $). But the nickel price was peaking then (3 times today's price). What is the mine worth today? Some fraction of that, if you're prepared to wait for the nickel price rebound and pay C&M costs in the meantime.

I can't answer as to the motivation in buying this mine.

Question, why did Hiru's Cdn address changed from 1 Yonge Street to 20 Bay Street? Much better address, actually...
