Sure you can, blame Trump. He's on the record as saying he wanted to downplay the pandemic, consistently underestimating when it would end, scoffing at mitigation measures and riffing on laughably bogus treatments; light and disinfectant injections. A true junk scientist and a complete f'ing moron.
