He didn't state the "state of things". He stated his OPINION of what MIGHT happen in todays world.

I have said time and time again that anything is possible. I have stated that yes, a market correction COULD come. I also acknowledge that other possibilities exist and that because of those possibilities, NONE of what he gives as opinion will happen.

I cross the street when I need to get to the other side. I don't hypothesize that I MIGHT get hit by a car, or a bus. I try to keep an eye out for them while crossing the street. But I don't stop myself from crossing simply because I MIGHT get hit. A market correction MIGHT come. It might be YEARS before it is seen. It might not come at all. But I won't be hiding under a rock, waiting for it to happen and shivering because it MIGHT.

Oh. And by the way. I am close to 70 years old. I'll wager that if ANYONE is closer to being a "youngun"? It's you. I've lived and invested THROUGH a FEW bad market corrections. And still retired with a 7 figure nest egg. And not beginning with just the number 1.
