Actually that section is currently under review by Congress.

Section 230 was passed 28 years ago in more normal times. (If such a thing exists anymore)

Providers today should not get a free pass by allowing things which may be objectionable to a civilized society. (Again like that exists anymore as well.)

The Genie is out of the bottle. The question is what to do with him.
