One post that has been posted over 30 times on the COOP board claims that JPM bought WAMU BANK for $1.9 Billion, yet the official documents says they made an initial payment of $1.9 Billion. In Real Estate transactions there is customary down payment (initia) to bind the deal and the final payment is made when the transaction closes. The fact of the matter is, the deal has not close as of this date, but we are getting closer.
Those naysayers claiming anything different are disingenuous and have an agenda that is false and misleading. no one that has been actively following this transaction for the past 15 years is stupid enough to believe them, yet they perceive they can convince those with beneficial interests in WMI holdings to believe them.
