Depends... After all, Marcella Hazan's famous tomato sauce recipe calls for five tablespoons of butter. Or you could use six. Very easy, and fabulously good, for all its simplicity:
It does need more than a "pinch" of salt, obviously. And the pasta is too heavily sauced in the photo. But the sauce is wonderful. I've never made it with fresh tomatoes, though that was Marcella's original choice.
