The ‘product’ was created 10 years ago. They have been trying to figure out how to farm silkworms in Vietnam since then. Something 1000’s of Vietnamese have been doing for over a thousand years now. All they have done to create BAM1 was to crossbreed the original DS worms with a couple of breeds of silkworms more compatible to the Vietnam environment.
