Yes. Puberty. Very tough time for acceptance...awkwardness and sexual growth...and beyond such. Physical puberty completes around 18..but the brain doesn't fully develop until the age of 25 minimal(so age 30 max):

So the term INCEL was created by an undeveloped mind. Kids like to be part of groups...and as you have probably seen...post videos faking Tourette , ADHD etc..etc. They don't suffer from such but want attention. They are kids.

So a huge part of that so called INCEL click is just a bunch of dumb kids. When you acknowledge INCEL as something legitimate..you are encouraging them. So you feed their main identity of not being accepted. So they must then be correct..eh? The issue of concern is the kids that associate themselves within an accepted group that have an actual mental illness. They are not the "dumb kids"...they need help. You do not just grow up and out of mental illness. it's with you forever.

Just remember when you are using that non word...and and bullying/calling out that that call themselves that(easily done)...you are also bullying some that are actually mentally ill. The largest problem facing the world is mental illness....mostly the very quick assent since mid 90's. Which is now out of control due to the internet.

There is no such thing as involuntary celibacy. There is such a thing as mental illness. And the very first use of the term came from someone that was having difficulty with her mental health. But her difficulty was overcome after she accepted herself as who she actually was/is :)

From what I read..she is appalled by it's sick usage today. I don't blame her. Don't feed mental illness with mental illness...bad things happen.
