One of the most important parts of this system is the ignore system. I would rather see it called a 'block' than an 'ignore' but the function is to never see posts from a given member. All users of Ihub should have an unlimited number of ignores, regardless of their membership status. The current system permits you to also 'ignore' posts BACK to your ignored members. I also use that, but not all the time. I wish it could be applied to a given message board instead of globally.
If we ALL used it to its full potential, this would be a far different system: We simply would not see what we don't want to see.
People I ignore:
Bashers
People that constantly try to 'correct' the bashers. (Bashers aren't TRYING to be correct.)
Ignorant people that make stupid comments like shorting sub penny stocks, and blaming mm's for trader action.
People that write in ALL CAPS
People that never, ever, have anything valid to say about the company or its stock.
The 'To da moon' people.
People that attack other posters.
People who are illiterate.
Stated another way, I DON'T ignore people that make valid observations about the stock or the company. I'm here only to be aware of what is going on with the company and its stock, things I can't get from OTCMarkets. The ignore system permits you to be your own TOS monitor and simply not see anything from anyone you don't want to waste your time with.
