My meaning there was that they want to refashion America as a white christian nationalist nation, that is, in their own image.
Just as their God is said to have made man (woan) under his own image.
So in that way, i think it's fair to say they see themselves as Gods.
Even if only unconsciously.

Trump seems to see himself as a God, or at least as the son of one. And, as you know, many of his supporters do too.

What do you think, is that view of them fair...
