What happens to a board like this, is a few posters take over and have to comment on just about everyone's post in an insulting way. People get tired of going round and round with these personalities that think they "know it all", and it kills the whole idea of trying to make the site better.
If you want to get comments from the folks, limit everyone to 1-2 posts per day, so you don't have a bunch of bloviating back and forth
