Actually I misspoke and did some more reading on the history. I meant to say some of the messaging said it would reduce the transmission of Covid if vaccinated.

There was some initially or even over a period of time some language that came out, maybe from the policy folks in the Administration saying vaccinated people would stop the spread of the virus. But then Pfizer officials said measuring if the vaccine reduced the spread of Covid wasn't an endpoint, and also very difficult to do in a short period of time. Some of the health officials had overstated the benefits by saying vaccinated people will reduce the spread of the Covid virus to others. As we learned, it spreads like no other virus via micro particulates in the air, unlike the cold virus or standard flu. Even after everyone is all vaccinated. And it wanes over time, often in just 4 months or so.
