People vote for trump because they are anti status quo, anti establishment...
No they don't. They vote for Trump because:
1. They're fascists.
2. They're racists.
3. They're stupid.
And many are all three.
A president they have no faith in their cognition can be persuasive as to who to vote for and who not....
That comment does not make sense. But I'll return to something I've brought up before: We've had past presidents who were either physically ill, cognitively impaired, or both.
Woodrow Wilson had a debilitating stroke after WWI. His second wife Edith managed the Oval Office for him, and did her best to conceal the fact that he was paralyzed on his left side and bedridden. It was a bad few years, but we survived.
Then there was FDR. That's a story everyone knows. He was very sick for the last few years of his life, but managed to pull himself together for the 1944 campaign, and got us (almost) through WWII.
Eisenhower had a heart condition, and was in fragile heath for much of his second term.
Richard Nixon spent the last year before his resignation drinking way too much, suffering from severe depression, and making Henry Kissinger pray with him. Oh, and making bad decisions.
Reagan, once again as we all know, was suffering from Alzheimer's during his second term.
My point, obviously, is that any president's administration does not depend only on the actions of the president, who is a single figure. It is the sum of its parts. I believe, as I've said before, that the most important part of a president's job is for him or her to choose the best possible advisers and leaders of government institutions. I think Biden has shown excellent judgment in the choices he's made.
That is what matters.
And if you seriously believe a significant number of Dems will just shrug and vote for Trumpty, you are wrong. Dem women will never make that choice. They value the rights to which they've become accustomed. I don't think you understand women at all.
