I'm not surprised to hear young Germans you got to know thought the Germany's would be reunited. I'll bet there were other Germans even young whom you didn't get to know who thought as you would they wouldn't. I'm suggesting the young ones you would have hung with would be thinkers, as you.

I thought they would eventually too. Am not so optimistic about the Koreas, but even them perhaps one day. One far down the track.
