B402, "You simply wont take the time" It's the misplaced attitude of superiority you exude and misguidedly claim. What were you thinking when you wrote than. That you have spent more time posting re possible solutions than i have. If that is it then you are talking out of your ass. The evidence is clear in posts over the years.

One of thousands:
Knowing a bit about how reformative Norway prisons could be i neglected to read this article in your earlier reply. Small excerpts:
[...]Take a quick look at the numbers: Only 20% of prisoners who come through Norway’s prisons reoffend within two years of being released, according to a 2010 report commissioned by the governments of several Nordic countries.
[...]It's a beauty. Knowing how fixed the instinct for revenge is in so many minds a similar psychology would be impossible to reach in most places in the U.S.A., or in Australia. Still, the results are huge. Think of the money which would be saved in just even a start in the U.S. system. Think of the money which could be put into mental health and other preventive measures. Results speak for themselves. And it is heartwarming to know how many Americans are working to help others working for positive change:

OOi, have you ever posted anything around prison reform? How about electoral reform. Minimum wage. Etc etc. Again, what were you thinking when you wrote "You simply wont take the time"

Yes you did your share on Trump back then, credit where some is due. However this is an important election year and for you to be knocking dems, as you do, while leaving the GOP totally alone, as you do, could only be seen as enabling the election of Trump and his ilk.

Also, as for the bigger picture of things which you see as wrong Biden's policies and achievements go to your favor much more than any policies of the GOP's go.

"Now go call people names, bash the rest of the country, and hammer away on the right....What you can't do, is let the people know you see the need for fundamental change, are willing to be the ones to bring it about and can actually do more than just talk about the opposition.....Now you have a leadership issue to contend with and you, dems and the media gaslighted the world until its now a crisis.....
P - You've squandered your chance to make history and act like democrats, you're just a party for the rich now......

In this election year you have a choice of two, one of whom will run the country.
Leave your wish for nirvana and your interminable whining about not getting that to the side.
Deal only for once with the fact you have a choice of two who will run the country.
And that unarguably you are railing against the party which serves your wishes the best.
Right or wrong, B402?

Ok, am thinking now the two articles below may actually fit you very well:

[...]Remember we often wondered why people vote against their own best interests. Then we saw some which went to explaining it. See:

Att: B402 -- Opinion | What the Science of Addiction Tells Us About Trump

It’s worth asking whether this helps explain Trump’s fixation on his grievances and ways of exacting retribution for them. The hallmark of addiction is compulsive behavior despite harmful consequences. Trump’s unrelenting efforts to retaliate against those he believes have treated him unjustly (including, now, American voters) appear to be compulsive and uncontrollable. The harm this causes to himself and others is obvious but seems to have no deterrent effect. Reports suggest he has been doing this for much of his life. He seems powerless to stop. He also seems to derive a great deal of pleasure from it.

The science of addiction provides another cautionary insight: Trump’s revenge habit hurts not only himself and the targets of his retaliatory wrath, but the rest of us, too.

[Insert: The psychology of punishment is key to why people vote against their own interests, says an Oxford neuroscientist
[...]Crockett studies the psychology of punishment and has found that, rather than accept what they see as an unfair scenario, people will often choose to punish others—even at a personal cost to themselves. This desire to punish, she believes, can motivate those who feel they’re getting a bad deal to vote against the political establishment, regardless of whether the alternative is truly a better option.

Seems to me in this most important election year, in your own mind you are on this board to, in your own mind, punish us and the dems for not gaining you the perfect world all of us wish we could have. You feel you are getting a bad deal... so you punish and you work against your own interest.

That's the impression if get.

Importantly, again -- Please tell me what was exactly in your mind when you posted "You simply wont take the time..." What exactly were you thinking in writing that.

It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
