They better put pressure on the providers. There isn't too many left to stop the monopoly. 2 years ago my internet only service with Spectrum was 59.00 a month for 200mbps, which isn't great. Right after I got the senior internet discount of 30.00 a month, my monthly jumped to 71.00, because they 'gave' me 100mbps more. So my bill was back to what I started with was like 45.00... allegedly uncapped/unlimited.

When Biden worked that plan in, the repulseklans only allowed it to april 2024, when Biden wanted it for 5 or more years. So spectrum came back with todays bill of 92.00 a month internet only with no increase. Maybe they're expecting another discounts. I'm stuck because there's no other services close to this uncapped.

Oh and I had wifi included up to the dicount when they added another 8 per month for wifi service - OVER what I was paying and claimed all they did was itemize my bill.
The closest int only package is 75.00 for 150 mbps capped. Spectrum will not work with me as any request for increase they said would have to be a new package and they don't give uncapped except to businesses in my area now.
