IMO - Goat has a stigma of sorts in America and non Euro countries, I think due to so many people don't know how to cook the gamey out of it. It's a strong tasting meat and like venison the trick is in the spices and cooking. You want some of that kick, but usually not all of it.

My Mom and my aunts knew how to cook anything. When my Mom made leg of goat or lamb and stuffed grape leaves you thought you were eating beef sirloin. My Dad couldn't stop eating meals like that.

That chicken thing looked like some sort of mole`.
