I've read this and similar stuff, not saying at all that these killings are not wrong, but here's a challenge:

List a couple of wars that were fought according to the rules, with no war crimes and no massacres of innocent civilians, and I mean they can have been fought any time, ever.

War is a war crime, period. How crazy is it to expect that you can start one then complain when it gets out of control. It always does, that's the nature of war.

Didn't Einstein write that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results? That's why rational actors don't start wars.

Errol Morris' documentary, Fog of War, ever seen it? Robert McNamara, of all people, is on camera stating that the dropping of the atomic bombs on Japan was unnecessary, that the war was already won. Or is the starting line for egregious war activities on 10/8/2023?
